A recent winter weekend with my partner, dog and elderly mother, We were all made very welcome by their super staff and it was a very special visit. We loved the beautiful hotel and the very comfortable rooms and facilities . Paignton itself is also looking spruced up since our last visit and we enjoyed walking along the beach, Promenade and shopping areas. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants that also allow dogs and the harbour area is particularly pretty at night. We'll visit again

This is an old hotel and everything is old fashioned but it is warm, clean and very comfortable. The service was wonderful. The food is plentiful and very good value on a half board package. The menu caters to the hotel's core clientele and is good basic cuisine. Special mention here to whoever cooks the veg because they were always really nicely cooked and very tasty. You have to book to use the pool but it was never busy. It was nice to have a swim after a long day's walking along the stunning SW coastal path.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely with plenty of relaxing areas and atmosphere. Our room was lovely, sadly a little warm, but the fan provided was great. The mattress is a little firm for me, but you can't please everyone. The food was excellent. Overall, it was a great weekend. Definitely recommend and visit again.

A little concerned with the double fairs on the green due to possible noise but certainly this was not an issue. All quiet just after 10pm. Hotel was the best for everything. Wonderful spa and indoor pool. Food perfect, staff the best, room so glad we upgraded. Plenty of space in room and bathroom and not only a walk-in shower but a separate bath too. Evening entertainment was good. Car park great but only if some don’t park their vehicles with too big a gap. Just don’t forget to register your vehicle and get the parking permit. Shame the bus no longer goes along front due to closure of nearby road. Overall we will definitely be returning for another stay.

I made a last minute call to book a room. A lady named Stanze was polite . On arrival she greeted me with a friendly smile and was extremely helpful. My room was spotless and so is the rest of the Hotel. Staff obviously do care about their guests. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel Thank you

Just returned from a stay here and really enjoyed it. Lovely hotel with views to the sea in great location for visiting attractions in the area. The food was really good and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed the entertainment and upgraded our room so had a very large one with ornate ceiling. The pool area was so nice and loved the pool.

We have just stayed for three nights, we cannot fault our stay, the bed was very comfortable,all the staff are brilliant so welcoming and friendly, the food was value for money and very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Shower no control to cool it down and the taps not good in our room, turned around and soaked you as pressure so high. Meal was booked and paid for for 4 of us but was told by restaurant that it was not booked with them, so we had to sit outside of restaurant as they were fully booked, even though they had been told 2.5 months before hand and on the 3 days prior to our booking and on the day!!! A lot less food choices available than last year when we came, also now charging £5 to swim! Will look around to see what other hotels are around after using the Palace for many years, as we were so disappointed this time. Good that they still have free parking. Hotel was very warm.
